A Lifetime Passion for Hair and Styling

My passion for hairstyling began at a young age, nurtured by a family deeply rooted in the beauty industry. Both my grandfather and mother are well-known, respected hairdressers in South Brazil, and I grew up surrounded by salons, eager clients, and the art of hairstyling. At just 14 years old, I started my first official job at my mother’s salon, where I began honing my skills as a hairdresser. During this time, I also assisted in creating custom-tailored wigs for clients battling terminal illnesses — a truly fulfilling experience that deepened my passion for the profession.

By the time I turned 21, my dedication to hairstyling had led me to open my own salon. Starting in a modest 52-square-foot space with two employees, I worked tirelessly to grow my business. Over the years, my salon expanded to a 1,700-square-foot space with a team of 50 professionals. In Brazil, I became known as the "King of Blonde Hair", gaining a reputation for my expertise in blonde coloring. Although I consider myself a well-rounded stylist, blonde hair coloring remains my specialty. I developed an exclusive highlighting technique based on my knowledge of visagism, ensuring that every color choice not only met my clients' needs but also maintained the health and vitality of their hair.

Driven by an insatiable curiosity and desire for continuous improvement, I have attended some of the world's most prestigious hair events, including those hosted by Tony Guy, Vidal Sassoon, and Longueras. I was also honored to be part of INTERCOIFFURE MONDIAL, an exclusive group of master hairdressers with its headquarters in Paris, France.

In 2015, my family and I moved to Los Angeles, seeking new opportunities and challenges. The transition to a new country, a new language, and building a clientele from scratch was no easy feat, but through hard work and perseverance, we have made remarkable strides. My established reputation in Brazil, combined with my expertise in hair extensions, earned me a U.S. Extraordinary Ability visa, further solidifying my standing in the industry.

I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my wife and business partner, Carine Fao. Her belief in my abilities has been instrumental in my journey, providing invaluable mentorship and guidance as we continue to build a successful business together.
